Erin and Greg were married at the Chesapeake Beach Spa and Resort on one of the hottest days so far this summer! Gladly for Greg and the guys, they wore linen suits which helped to keep them a bit cooler. Both Erin and the Girls as well as Greg and his guys got ready at Chesapeake Beach, so I was able to bounce back and forth from room to room to get both of them before the ceremony. They held their ceremony on the beach and that theme was reflected throughout the day, with starfish place cards and decorations, natural grass centerpieces, and colors to reflect the water and sand theme of their day.
It was an amazingly fun day, and you can see in both Greg and Erin’s expressions how truly happy they were throughout the day. I’m thrilled that I had the opportunity to document their day! Thank you both for including me in your plans.

Another incredibly lucky weather day for me and my couple! Jamie and Rich were married at Herrington Harbor in Chesapeake Beach Maryland. Jamie and the girls got ready at the Chesapeake Beach Spa and Resort then met Rich and his guys at Herrington before the ceremony.
Originally Jamie and Rich had planned to see each other for the first time at the ceremony site, but Rich was so nervous that I didn’t want to make him walk that far. I don’t want anyone to get the wrong idea, Rich was very excited to be getting married, probably too excited! Seeing each other for the first time was great for both of them, but then Mother Nature swept in and rushed everyone inside for a downpour.
Fourty-Five minutes prior to the ceremony and we weren’t sure where it would be held.Gladly the storm cleared out with enough time to get everything together and get the ceremony site set up. The Herrington staff was awesome and got the site set up in no time! Jamie and Rich held their reception inside the building at Herrington Harbor in the upstairs portion.

Well it’s the second year I’ve gone to see the Dundalk Fireworks and the second year it has absolutely poured on us. I tell you, if you’ve never been, it’s like no other fireworks display I’ve been to before. I swear I’m in the Wild West when I go. Not only is there the big main display put on by the Dundalk Firefighters, but there field where the fireworks are set off are surrounded by houses and everyone in the surrounding neighborhood has their own display going on, so throughout the evening, leading up to the main fireworks wherever you look fireworks are being set off from the houses, bottle rockets are being set off by other people at the field waiting for the official fireworks - it’s crazy!
The 4th of July is Kristy’s absolute favorite holiday so we arrived early in order to sit right up against the caution tape where you couldn’t get any closer to the fireworks. When you sit that close you have to look straight up to see the fireworks and it feels like they’re falling down on top of you. We arrived at 7:00pm, a full two hours and fifteen minutes before the official fireworks display was set to begin. The next two hours was filled with fireworks being set off all around the field, and two kids right next to us with little cap explosives that the little girl was kind enough to share with Kristy and me. We had a great time even with the rain and I can’t wait for next year’s fireworks!
Check out the images below, and I hope to see you at the tape line in Dundalk next year!
Kristy and I arrived early with hats on!
Here’s one of the ‘neighborhood’ displays before the official ones began. The private displays were awesome on their own, the official ones were just the icing on the cake!

Fireworks under the umbrellas!

Here’s a collage of the fireworks from the grand finale, click on the image above to see a larger version.
